Mathesy

Mathesy Csaky
Mathesy is passionate about helping people feel good about themselves. Growing up in a family that owned a day spa, the importance of leading a healthy, holistic lifestyle was instilled in her from the start. From working at Ilona's previous spa to visiting spas all over the world, she has first-hand knowledge of how healthy living makes you feel better both mentally and physically.

Mathesy received a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College and an M.A. in Art Education from Columbia University. Through these experiences, she became committed to promoting the creative process of art. In addition to being an artist herself, Mathesy has studied and been exposed to art therapy since high school. She also wrote her Master's Thesis on art therapy.

Prior to opening Harmonia, Mathesy was an art teacher for NYC public schools. As a teacher, she established a safe and receptive environment for her students to explore in and incorporated her knowledge of art therapy into her classes.

Mathesy is very interested in the relationship between the mind, body and spirit. She strongly believes that incorporating holistic practices into your life help you lead a more meaningful one.

Mathesy has been practicing yoga for over a decade and formerly worked at a yoga studio in Manhattan.

Mathesy feels fortunate to be able to create a special place which supports well-being in the lives of others. She is so excited to share what she's learned to help people in discovering their true selves.
